Soul Brothers at Channel1 on July 29th
Soulbrothers, which runs from July 29th to September 18th at Channel1 in New Haven, Connecticut, features original canvas, mixed medium and custom urban vinyl from four local artists: Brat, Demo, Eros, and Sket. As for vinyl, Sket will have two new custom GID splash eggsters at the show :-) The opening reception on July 29th from 6-9 PM features live music from DJ's DooleyO and Lay-Lo. Channel1 just opened its doors and is the first store to carry urban vinyl in New Haven, CT. It's great to see more and more stores popping up all over and not just in megalopolises. So if you're anywhere near New Haven, check it out!
