Thundermutt 1.0 available on Ebay direct from Thunderdog Studios

From Tristan Eaton, the father of Dunny and the Kidrobot figure, comes Thunderdog Studio's first vinyl toy, Thundermutt!  Thundermutt 1.0, the first edition, is currently available through McCaig-Welles gallery as part of Tristan's Flying Objects show.  Starting today, 100 (out of 500) are now available on Ebay with buy-it-now for $40 directly from Thunderdog. He also comes with a numbered mini-print!

Tristan is IMO one of the top artists in designer toys today and he's very cool as well.  So I'm really excited that he's finally got a toy that's 100% his.  It's about time :-)  A lot of thought and love went into Thundermutt.  One key aspect of Thundermutt is that it was  designed from the ground up to support artist collaborations (hence "mutt"). Fittingly,  the head can be removed to reveal a hidden identity which will likely change with each new edition.  Also, because Tristan believes in the underground aspect of toys, many Thundermutt editions will be exclusive releases for a particular art show or event.  In particular, Thundermutt 2.0 is a collab between Tristan and Seen to coincide with their NOSKOOL show opening 1.13.06 at The Showroom NYC.   For all these reasons and more, I dig Thunder Mutt and  can't wait to see version 10.0 and beyond.
