MTV Moon Man for the VMAs by Plasticgod
Plasticgod's style comes to the red carpet of the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards with the release of his 3" limited-edition Moon Man figure from Super Rad Toys. Limited to 2000 pieces, this new interpratation of the VMA's iconic Moon Man is loaded with Pgod's design touches from the signature body and gold head to the stylish grill and shades. We're digging the early hip hop meets retro NASA look. Tune into the VMA's live this Sunday (9.9) @ 9 PM from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas to catch a glimpse of the toy and of course the music and celebs.
The crossover vibe continues in full force with this release. Plasticgod's Moon Man is the latest in a growing set of steps by MTV into designer toys which include the MTV Toy project held earlier this year in Italy and MTV Canada's upcoming 'Fauna' series of toys from Nathan Jurevicius.
Just in case you're scratching your head and wondering what the Moon Man is... Here's MTV's helpful 'bio'.
26 years ago, with the launch of MTV, the Moon Man became one of only 10 men to visit the moon. This summer he is dropping in to celebrate the 2007 Video Music Awards. He loves Vegas and more importantly he loves to party. So keep your eyes peeled to catch a glimpse of him swinging from chandeliers and riding the donkey down the red carpet.

anyone else uncomfortable with how much of a Kubrick rip-off this???
Yup. I thought it was a Kubrick to start, why would you rip off Kubricks anyway, they're ugly!
I agree with the other posts, the Plasticgod Axis of Evil figures are really cool but you can't ape Kubricks/Lego again and again without getting dissed.
I think MTV should know better
why not approach Medicom or Talk To ROY Miles
about using his "Biddies"
this looks like a busted knock off of Kubrik,Biddie,Lego
I actually like Super Rad and what they do,
but this is re-friggin tarded I guess money talks
I love Roy...he's a very close friend...we did the Fooies together. This is the way PGod paints...box/lego inspired bodies with tweaked pop-culture themes...no conspiracy here...turn those frowns upside down and enjoy a fun promo just for the VMA's
I WANT MY MTV (spaceman toy)!
Would be kinda cool as a 400% with a clear helmet
and electroplated body
Good idea...too bad it's a one off...
anyone heard of LEGO before? Kubricks are rip offs of lego men incase any of you tards didnt know...
others bite...medicom rips off
