Suitman in Vinyl

suitman

Korean artist and creative director Young Kim started his identity as Suitman simply enough on a trip with only a single black suit to wear.  Over time he realized that the black suit and the yellow shades externalized his feeling of cultural alienation both as an asian living in america, and almost perversely an american living in asia. The legend of suitman has grown through photographs taken during Young’s travels and through his "Invasion: Suitman” shows in which he offers the public the chance to don the Suitman attire and pose for a photo.

The shows also offer Suitman merchandise including Suitman figures. The upcoming stops will include the brand spankin’ new Suitman vinyl from adFunture.  The figure stands 28.5 cm tall  (~ 11 inches) and can be yours through the adFunture shop for $60 (+ shipping).
