Vinyl CPH Auction Benefitting Haiti Relief
Jesper Elg and Soren Rose Kjae, th e organizers of the ongoing Vinyl CPH show, featuring customized 16” Toyer Qees, and Toy2R have generously arranged to donate 50% of the funds from the show piece auctions to the Danish Red Cross’s efforts to assist Haiti with Earthquake Relief. The show and the auctions end on February 2nd – so check out the pieces and bid generously.
Here’s a little background on the show/project. The idea behind the Vinyl CPH project was to blend the worlds of art and graphic design, breaking the often very real barriers between them. The show opened on November 25th @ the Karriere Bar in Copenhagen to a large crowd and then moved to its current location at Danish Architecture Center (DAC). Check out opening pics over at Plastic Kid’s Blog as well as Creol Brothers.
