Ferg – Germ S001 Squadt (10.31)

Ferg and Playge are about to unleash the newest combat hardened Squadt on the world.  The 6” Germ S001 follows in the footsteps of Nozzel and Gassed with his ability to persevere even in the face  of chemical/gas onslaughts.  As the name suggests, this is the very first edition of the new Germ head sculpt.  The new Squadt also brings another first, the inclusion of the highly posable yet slightly mechanical looking ‘2.0’ arms.   As if that’s not enough, he comes loaded for bear with a brand new .50 sniper rifle,  SMK23 ‘sqocom’ handgun, suit/tie, nylon sling bag, removable helmet and the ‘classic’ arms for those looking to keep the OG look.

The new .50 sniper rifle accessory looks great and seems to be modeled after the Barrett Model 82A1 rifle popularized in multiple films including one of my favorites, Hurt Locker.  The toy version features a scope and working fold-out bipod.  Very cool.

Blending the urban vinyl aesthetic with the tactical detail from the 1:6 world, Squadts are an easy call.  If you have an army already or are looking to start one, Germ S001 is a strong choice.  Limited to 200 pieces, it drops on Monday October 1st @ 10 AM PDT for $95 (includes world wide shipping) via the Squadt Store.
