Luke Chueh x 1xRun -- ‘Boba’ (4.11)

This just makes me smile. 1xRun will release Luke Chueh’s ‘Boba’ print (200 pieces, $75)  starting on Friday (4.11) @ Noon PDT.   As with many of Luke Chueh’s pieces, the deceptively simple image and the title amp one another.  Intergalactic Bounty Hunters and mad expensive, yet delicious Asian Milk Teas in one wink, wink piece?  Yes, please.  I’ve always appreciated the synergy between Luke’s paintings and his titles. Here, the title explains everything – one powerful, enticing and  amusing word.  In case you’re curious, the original painting was shown at Corey Helford’s  recent Pop-Eyeconic group show.
