Shimomoku – New Makori-San Sofubi

Shimomoku will debut his brand new Makori-San sofubi figure at Design Festa No. 39 (5.17 – 5.18) in Tokyo.  A definite departure from Shimomoku’s previous Lampu figure, Maknori-San features an intriguing, organic design with an eye-catching curved neck and a bottom joint that rotates, allowing the figure to ‘sit’.   Relying on machine translation is always tricky, but it appears that the artist is currently deciding between bringing either the tan or the blue figures to the show.  No word yet on whether these will be unpainted or painted editions.
