Emilio Subirá -- Toysoul

Spanish artist Emilio Subirá seems to have an endless stream of fun toy ideas. His latest figure is the minimalist Toysoul patterned after a traditional action figure blister + card package.  From the backing board shape to the heart in blister, this meta toy reflects collectors and the passion of pursuing the plastic that we all love.  Toysoul is a mix of thermoformed worbla (blister) and resin featuring magnetic articulation in the arms.  The first edition of eight s/n pieces is available now for $69 (+ s/h) from the artist’s web shop.  There’s also a unique, hand-embellished AP for  $69 as well.
