First up is the Tequila Snybora from their Lake Monsters line with Chris Ryniak. Standing 3.5” tall, Snybora is handpainted by Joe Somers of squibbles ink and will retail $38. Scott Tolleson will have plenty in store for SDCC in his traditional location [booth #5139].  For those that like bite-sized figures, there’s the brand-new Pistachio Kookie No Good (nailed the green!) produced by De Korner, a super-limited Purple Bling Beet (5 pieces), AP Dark Imperial Lotus Dragon Dunnys (only 5!), and as far as we know, the Chrome Imperial Lotus Dragon.  Plus, there will also be a Frosted Trayjus, and the very cyrptic sounding Agromedus and the Whisper which judging by the teaser image just might be a trippy soft vinyl cat  project.

Super7 x Aliens – 18” Aliens Xenomorph Warrior

Back in the good ol’ days of 79’, Kenner released the 18” Alien figure, which is a prized possession to many fans and collectors til’ this day. For the summer of 2016, exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con, Super7 is proud to announce the release of their 18” Aliens Xenomorph Warrior, who will gladly take on any Alien figure today. Their SDCC Exclusive Prototype edition features a light blue color with exclusive prototype packaging. The figure itself features articulation in the neck, hips, arms, waist and wrists with spring-loaded jaw! Super7 is most definitely keeping the Alien and Aliens line alive! Seeing as this is a SDCC exclusive, we believe these will be super limited and will retail you $195.

The Alien Warrior figure never existed in prototype form in 1986. The backstory is that this piece is a prototype sample of the Alien Warrior for "internal review". The packaging is a prototype package, modeled after the Alien ReAction Figures 2-Pack from 2013. The package is meant to be a mock-up, with hand-written notes about what is approved, needs to be changed, or filled in during the production process. While the original Kenner 3.75” Alien action figures were genuinely created and cancelled in the late-70s, and rescued by Super7 for ReAction Figures, the Super Size Alien Warrior is a "what-if" figure.

Andrew Bell – Area 51 Karoshi-San for SDCC

The conspiracy theories are right. Only, turns out the little green men don’t want to take over the world, but rather earn a buck for their UFO payments.  After the debut black edition and the regular color edition, what could be next for Andrew Bell’s worked-to-death salary man ?  Aliens (in Android green no less).  That’s right, one year after the debut of the black Karoshi-San at last year’s SDCC comes the Area 51 Karoshi-San with silver hat (tin foil?) and a snazzy attache case emblazoned with ‘A51’—safekeeping for the included serial number document.  You’ll be able pick up Mr. Green from the Dead Zebra booth (#1335) for $65.
